Amari Hat and Booties by lisafdesign

My girlfriend is visiting from Japan and she told me that her best friend had just become a grandmother.

What a perfect opportunity to try out one of the patterns I bought from Lisa at KAN in NZ a few weeks ago.

The Amari hat was a very easy and satisfying knit. Being an 8ply pattern, it was a quick knit and within a day I had a beanie.

I made the 0-3 months size and used an 8ply hand dyed Superwash merino. My pom is slightly larger than the one in the pattern photo and I didn't add tassels to the i-cord ties. 

Overall, it's a gorgeous design and well written pattern and I'll be making many more :)
